The Pink Portfolio is a student led initiative that hopes to raise awareness about financial literacy and aims towards the economic empowerment of women because when women rise we all rise.

It is founded by Nysa, Jane and Prajita (click on card to find out more about them)

Currently there are only 38% financially independent women due to social and cultural norms. This causes a lack of awareness making women a target for schemes such as pink tax which snatches trillions of dollars from women every year.

TAX

Pink tax is not actually a tax but rather a clever scheme that is present all over the world that basically makes women pay more just for being a woman. It is present in every other product we buy as a small difference which ends up becoming more than $135000 by the end of our lifetime. Therefore it snatches trillions of dollars from women each year, furthermore, increasing the existing gender wage gap.Learn to overcome this in the take action section.
